Friendship Week
The 2024 Philippine-Austrian Friendship Week is organized by the Philippine Department of Migrant Workers, ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA Philippines, the Philippine Embassy in Austria as well as the Austrian Embassy in the Philippines. The three-day event aims to promote Austria as a destination for Filipino professionals through cultural performances, informational sessions, and a career fair. In preparation for the Friendship Week, the Filipino community in Austria was invited to capture their favourite stories about living and working in Austria on video or photos. The prize-winning entries of this social media challenge were presented at a kick-off reception at the Federal Ministry of Labour and Economy on April 23.
